Xcstrings to JSON

Language the catalog was written for

If you find this tool helpful, please share it with others

Apple String Catalog is a file format introduced with Xcode 15 for storing localization data of Apple platform apps. It is a JSON-based format that keeps every language of an app in a single .xcstrings file, along with comments, plural forms, device variations and the translation state of each string.

Key-Value JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) is a widely used file format in the software localization field. It is a lightweight data-interchange format, largely popular due to its easy-to-read and write structure and its ability to represent a wide range of data types.
