ISO 15924 script code: Tang

The Tangut script was used to write the Tangut language of the Western Xia dynasty in China. Predominantly employed by the Tangut people between the 11th and 13th centuries, this intricate logographic script contains thousands of characters. Its modern computer support is limited but can be found in specialized software and some Unicode blocks. The script's creation is attributed to the Yeli Renrong, a notable scholar of the time.
