Takri (Ṭākrī, Ṭāṅkrī) is an ancient script historically used in northern India, predominantly in the regions of Himachal Pradesh, Jammu, and Haryana. It is primarily associated with the Chambeali, Dogri, and Mandeali languages, among others. With origins in the Brahmi script, its use has declined over time, though modern support is present in some computer systems and Unicode. The exact authorship remains unknown.
