ISO 15924 script code: Osma

The Osmanya script was devised by Osman Yusuf Kenadid in the 1920s for the Somali language. Hailing from Somalia, this script found its use among Somali scholars before the Latin alphabet became prevalent. Today, Osmanya faces limited native use but has support in Unicode, making it accessible on modern computers and operating systems.
