Kharoshthi is an ancient script used primarily in the northwestern region of the Indian subcontinent. Predominantly employed for writing Gandhari and Sanskrit, its usage flourished between the 4rd century BCE and the 3th century CE. Originated from the Aramaic script, it is written from right to left. Although not widely used in modern computing, specific software and Unicode support allow for its digital representation.
