The Elbasan script, is a unique writing system originating from the Albanian city of Elbasan in the 18th century, primarily used to write the Albanian language. It is known to have been used in a single document, the Elbasan Gospel Manuscript. Though predominantly associated with Albanian culture, it is not in common use today, superseded by the Latin alphabet. Computer support is limited; however, it is encoded in the Unicode Standard, allowing for representation in digital formats.
