Adlam script, developed in the 1980s by the brothers Ibrahima and Abdoulaye Barry, is a writing system used primarily for the Fulani language, prevalent in West Africa. It grew popular as a tool for preserving the culture and language of the Fula people. Supported on major operating systems since 2018, the script can now be found in Unicode standardization, facilitating its digital usage and promotion globally.
