ISO 15924 script code: Yiii

The Yi script is used to write the Yi languages, spoken primarily by the Yi people of China. In 1974, a standardization for the Liangshan dialect was introduced. It is believed that this unique script, uninfluenced by neighboring languages, has a documented history of at least 500 years. On computers, it can be used through Unicode.
