Linear A, an ancient script used on the island of Crete during the Minoan civilization (1800-1450 BCE), remains undeciphered. Though commonly associated with Minoan language, its exact linguistic affiliation is unknown. Unlike its successor, Linear B, which encodes Mycenaean Greek, modern computer systems and operating systems offer limited support for Linear A. The original authors of the script remain unidentified.
