Siddham, or Siddhaṃ, is an ancient script originating from India, primarily used for writing Sanskrit. Historically significant in Buddhist traditions of East Asia, particularly in Japan, it has mostly ceremonial usage today. On computers, it can be used through Unicode. Its exact origins remain obscure, but it flourished around 600-1200 AD.
